Who I Work With
I work with a wide range of clients. My specialities are working with school aged children and teens. But, I love working with young adults and individuals struggling with substance use as well. I only accept self pay at this time. Self pay allows for a more personable experience during our therapy sessions. The fee for an individual therapy session at this time is $125.00.
School Aged Children (5-12)
My work with children is typically centered around self-esteem building, self regulation skills, self expression, and learning about who they are. I love utilizing expressive techniques, play therapy techniques, as well as other traditional modalities. I am also certified in trauma based techniques and EMDR. Therapy can offer a space to talk about big emotions, explore themselves and what they need, and offer support for big moments in an independent way.
Teens (13-18)
My work with teens is typically centered around self-esteem building, learning communication techniques, self regulation skills, identity exploration, and building coping strategies. These years are not always easy but I can offer a safe space for the individual to learn about themselves and grow into who they want to be. I utilize many modalities and they are always client centered.
Young Adults (19-30)
My work with young adults typically is related to transitions, anxiety and other mental health needs, self-worth, friendships, and figuring out who they want to be as they get older. This stage of life includes big changes that can be hard to navigate at times. Therapy can help with navigating these changes and allow for the individual to reflect, reset, and move forward independently with confidence.
How It Works
- Session Length: Initial intake is typically 60 minutes long, ongoing therapy ranges from 45-60 mins based on individual client needs
- Location: All sessions are held virtually via Simple Practice (a secure, HIPPA-compliant platform)
- Frequency: Many clients start with weekly sessions and then move to bi-weekly sessions or monthly sessions based on needs. Again, this is client choice and can be decided between clinician and client.
- Timeline of Therapy: Some people choose therapy for a few months others choose it for a longer period of time. This is something we can collaborate about during our time together based on what you need.
